Three of the four 18-hole Gary Player designed golf courses (Outeniqua, The Links and Montagu) are rated in the Top 100 in South Africa. Course architect, David McLay Kidd remodelled the Montagu golf course in 2004 turning it into a fantastic golf course.
Other golfing facilities include a warm up area, 3 well stocked golf shops and a Golf Academy with full time teaching professionals and the only Taylor Made Performance Lab in Africa. The Taylor Made Performance Lab is able to provide golfers with Golf's Ultimate Fitting Experience, previously available only to PGA Tour professionals, the two-hour custom fitting experience is conducted in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Sport Facilities
Four tennis courts, a gym, steam room and Jacuzzi, volleyball, outdoor and indoor swimming pools, billiards, darts and golf warm up and putting areas are just a few of the activities for energetic members and guests to enjoy.
The Fancourt Leisure Trail caters for walkers, runners and cyclists over distances of 2.3, 5 and 10 kilometres. The trails offer breathtaking scenery and keeping the needs of outdoor trainers in mind, a variety of contours provide a challenge for serious enthusiasts or a leisurely approach for amateurs.
For those wanting to explore further a field, mountain bikes and backpacks are available for hire and there are plenty of horse riding trails in the area.
Fancourt Conference Facilities
The Conference Centre is equipped with state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment and video conferencing. It has a variety of rooms including a banquet /conference hall (400 max), 3 breakaway rooms and 3 boardrooms or beautiful outdoor marquees. A fully equipped business centre is available as well.
